As soon you reach the town, you will be welcomed by the beauty of the panoramic views and you will start your connection with the area learning about its history, religious traditions, culture, food, and wine at the same time you will discover two of the most famous locations of the Godfather part I: the famous “Bar Vitelli” and St. Nicolò Church.
The two attractions will lead you back to 1971 when Francis F. Coppola decided to film some memorable scenes that have become well-known worldwide: the meeting of Michael Corleone with his future Sicilian father-in-law (Mr. Vitelli) and the wedding of Michael with Apollonia Vitelli.
To get more from this experience, at the end of the visit, you will have a moment of delight in a unique wine shop where the owner will receive you with joy and he will serve you with a variety of Sicilian wines paired with cold-cuts and cheese.
Before you leave Savoca, take some time on your own to enjoy the exclusive lemon “granita with Zibibbo and zuccarata cookie” at Bar Vitelli or to do some shopping in the nice, little souvenir shops next to the main square.

Leaving your accommodation, the first step of this tour is the ancient picturesque town of Castelmola, from where you can enjoy a stunning view overlooking the most famous Taormina and the majestic Mount Etna. This beautiful village offers the opportunity to taste one of the most typical almond wines, a liqueur wine that Sicilians usually enjoy after lunch or dinner.

For our movie tours from Taormina you will only have to bring hat, sunscreen, light clothes and your camera. Consider to bring with you also pills for motion sickness if needed.
This tour will be operated for a max number of 12 people and a min number of 4 people. The minimum number refers to the total number of people signed up for the tour, not to the minimum number per booking.
