The Messina wine tasting tour will be a perfect choice for a 4-hour break in one of the most ancient Sicilian towns. Discover the exquisite taste of wine and experience the rich history of our city during our Messina History and Wine tour.
Start your day with a warm welcome from your certified local guide and your driver, happy to receive you on the island of Sun – Sicily.
Afterwards, we will start exploring the town’s historical centre where you can witness ancient monuments and particular attractions that attest to the past of one of the most ancient cities of Sicily.
Despite the destruction caused by natural events and the second world war, Messina still maintains a particular charm capable to attract thousands of visitors from all over the world. You’ll be introduced to the fascinating stories and legends that merge with historical events that shaped the unicity of the city through the centuries.
The Messina wine tasting tour will continue with a visit to a winery located in the Southern area in the city of Messina. Here you will be surprised to see how just driving half an hour from the city center we can reach such a hidden and quiet place.
The vines grow right on the slopes of a hill on terraces. Visit the estate accompanied by your tour guide and the owner, and indulge in a wine tasting of the typical Faro DCO wine paired with a selection of traditional food..
The owners who will be our guides, will make sure that each glass of wine will be accompanied by delectable food pairings, carefully selected to enrich and elevate your tasting experience.

Departure times are set according to the arrival and departure time of cruise ships based on the calendars that we know in advance. Return on time is 100% guaranted, and we wait for our guests to arrive if the ship is late disembarking.

You have the option to pay with a deposit of 40% if the total due amount is more than 500€. We will later charge your card for the balance within 15 days to the tour departure.

Messina wine tasting tour starts from Messina Cruise Port or from Travel Agency Discover Messina Sicily, located in the city center. On request, a departure from your accommodation located in Messina area.
We will explore the historical centre with its attractions: the cathedral of Messina and the Bell Tower, Orion’s sixteen-century fountain, Catalani’s church, the town hall building, the golden statue of “Madonnina del Porto” but also the panoramic point with the wonderful views.
During a short drive from the city center, you will get to the countryside of Messina, and from your car window, you will admire the landscape of terraces with citrus groves until you reach the vineyard estate and the winery. Here, in the hearth of a delightful valley, the owners will share the history of the place and their passion for wine production.
After a warm welcome and the presentation of the farm, we will be accompanied to taste a selection of wines, combined with a sample of the freshest traditional food locally produced.
