The first part of this day tour will take you on a 2 hours Taormina boat tour, exploring the natural beauty of Isola Bella beach and the shoreline, while providing also a different perspective on the huge Mt. Etna. During the Taormina boat tour, a short stop will let you jump in the fresh blue water.

All of them are situated along Corso Umberto, a long pedestrian area where also the historical monuments and a beautiful panoramic point over the Bay of Naxos are located.
The Taormina boat tour to Isola Bella Sicily starts from Messina Cruise Port or from Travel Agency Discover Messina Sicily, located in the city center. On request, a departure from your accommodation located in Messina area.
We are going to have a panoramic tour of the city. We will see the famous statue of the Virgin
Mary of the Letter, the Fountain of Neptune, the St. Francis Church and the Palace of Culture.
After a journey of about one hour by van, you will reach the first destination of this day-trip, which is the port of Giardini Naxos, just underneath the town of Taormina.
Here you will start your Taormina boat tour that will take you to the discovery of the coastline and of Isola Bella Sicily, a rocky islet connected to the beach by a tiny sand line. A highlight of the Taormina boat tour is for sure the famous Blue Grotto, named after the bright blue color of its water.
After a refreshing swim near Isola Bella and a tasting, you will be back to the port of Giardini Naxos and you will be ready to discover the historical center of Taormina.
In less than 10 minutes you will arrive in the beautiful Taormina, where you will start a Taormina tour, enjoying your free time walking along Corso Umberto or “eating local” at one of the many typical and cozy restaurants of the pedestrian area.
Your tour guide will be happy to suggest to you the best spots where to try the famous Sicilian food as arancino, cannolo, and a fresh granita, or the most interesting historical attractions of Taormina, such as the Greek-Roman Theatre, the ancient churches, the panoramic point or the peaceful public garden.

We were a group of 5 people, and we were met by Sara, our tour guide. She is very informative of the
tour, and made it a fun day for all of us! I would highly suggest this tour to anyone. And especially with
Sara as your guide!
Cecilia was our tour guide and we were so lucky to have her! She was very knowledgeable and informative plus adorable and so much fun to be with! She catered to all our needs as were were a family of 5 with and 8 year old and two teenagers. I highly recommend taking this tour with her if you want to have an extremely fun and memorable experience of a lifetime! We hope you visit us in Canada Cecilia! ❣️??
We had a large group from our cruise critic roll call that all booked this tour and the guides were extremely accommodating to us. We had a great tour of Taormina and the boat tour of Isola Bella was beautiful. It was my favorite tour of the 10 day cruise. We boated along the coast and had a chance to jump in the water from the boat while they prepared fruit and wine for all. The boat went in the blue grotto and we were able to view how the sun cast a bright blue hue on the water within the cave. I highly recommend this tour, Sara was our tour guide and was awesome! It was a place I would like to visit again.
great day trip boat was lots of fun and swim too Taormina is fantastic to walk around and food
there is excellent good value trip highly recommended
We went on this wonderful excursion last week. We were met right on time by Sara and boarded a nice air conditioned bus. We were a group of 18. Sara gave lots of information about Messina and the area as we drove. The first stop was the boat ride and the coast line was beautiful and we had a great swim at the end. The water was cold but refreshing. We then headed to Taormina for a 2 hrs stop. Such a cute town on the cliff. Sara gave us advice on what to do. We went for lunch and walked around. It was a great day and I would recommend this tour
