The Taormina White Lotus private luxury tour is an invitation to experience the adventure of a Sicilian holiday in one day: visiting all the highlights of Taormina that appear in the series and also sailing on a private boat around the Isola Bella’s bay!
We are pretty sure that if you are reading these lines, you probably know that Taormina is the main White Lotus filming location: great views, wonderful attractions, exclusive hotels, and a unique atmosphere made the perfect framework for the second season of this film series.
Now, we might not be able to assure you a night at San Domenico hotel, but we surely can guide you to see the places where the movie scenes were shot, as you cannot miss some Instagram-able photos for your profile… you will make your friends envious!

Taormina White Lotus tour aims to be one of the most special experiences in this medieval town which had the power to preserve till today, the second largest Greek theatre in Sicily – the landmark of the area.
Taormina: Porta Catania – our starting point of the visit – will lead us immediately to Corso Umberto lined by ancient monuments, boutiques, exclusive shops, and luxury hotels. As the main street, it will accompany us to discover one of the most important squares of the city: “IX April” from where you will enjoy a jaw-dropping view on the Bay of Naxos, Mount Etna and the Greek Theater from afar.
Isola Bella: prepare to be amazed by the enchanted nature reserve of Isola Bella and the crystal waters of Taormina, its caves, its luxury resorts and rock formations.
As a land and sea tour, the activities included are various, always in line with the storyline of the movie and with its locations.
Walking tour discovering the Taormina White Lotus filming locations: it will be a great opportunity to discover the famous San Domenico Hotel where we will do a short stop at the entrance and then we will continue the walking along Corso Umberto – where most of the scenes were filmed, such as Ethan’s morning running till April IX Square.
The boat tour: it will take us to the most beautiful bays of Taormina, from where we will be able to see closely, Hotel Capo Taormina and its unique elevator carved into the rock – where Tanya was invited by Quentin to the beach club near the pool.
Culture: besides being the White Lotus filming location, Taormina is a famous touristic destination on the Ionian coast, preserving monuments of huge historical importance such as the cathedral, a roman Odeon, a Greek-roman theatre, ancient churches, and a wonderful public garden that also can be seen in some scenes of the film.
Nature: the Isola Bella instead, situated at the base of the town, will offer a unique show with its beauty: positioned not so far from one of the most popular beaches connected to it by a small line of sand, it is the perfect place where you could stop for a swimming break.
After the pickup at the cruise port or at your accommodation, we will drive to Taormina in a comfortable luxury car.
Once we reach our destination, we will start our visit, starting from Porta Catania, stopping at the entrance gate of San Domenico hotel, and exploring Corso Umberto lined by the many boutiques.
Of course, we will learn the story behind the curious ceramic objects – the so-called “teste di moro”- that you will see exposed on all the balconies and inside the pottery shops of the town, and why not, purchase during your free time there.
To complete our visit of Taormina, we will continue our experience with a boat trip. At the small port of Giardini Naxos we will embark on a private boat that will take us to discover breathtaking views of Mt Etna and Taormina from the coast. The trip includes a stop to swim close to Isola Bella, where Daphne asks Ethan to accompany her for a visit …that left doubts for most of us.
We will also get very close to wonderful caves that hide particular legends and stories that were carried on through the centuries till our days.

Can’t recommend this enough. We had a fun, relaxing and easy experience with this tour. Our cruise port got changed and the company reached out proactively letting us know they’d pick us up at the new location. We were greeted by Mariarita right at the port and Giuseppe drove all of us to the boat next to Taormina. The boat ride was a highlight for us. We got to see some of the filming spots from the White Lotus show but also enjoyed a fruit plate, Prosecco, and an hour of swimming. The boat was perfect. Mariarita gave us a tour of downtown Taormina and recommended a great spot for lunch overlooking the water. We had a great day as a family and highly recommend!
Absolutely Perfect Day in Taormina!
A perfect day! This tour was the highlight of our vacation! Katia our guide and Giacomo our driver were both amazing! Katia was full of knowledge and was there for our group of 6 with whatever was needed throughout the day.
Our 3 boys (20, 18 and 16) who have never seen the White Lotus tv show, thought the tour was great and we all found Taormina to be a beautiful town. The boat ride that was part of our tour, will be one of the top memories of our vacation. The boat owners were so warm and welcoming. Tremendous hospitality.

The white lotus tour plus
Our guide was awesome and ver knowledgeable. Picked us up at the port and drove directly to taumora to a private speed boat ride by a lovely couple. We then went to a very old amphitheater overlooking the beautiful sea. We walked thru the town and had a small meal then went the courtyard where the white lotus was filmed. A perfect day.
